When I'm Missing Home...

When my little family and I decided to move away from California, we left behind the only life we had over known. My husband was born in raised in the same county his entire life! He and I met there, were married there, and all of our children were born there. We left behind our families and all of our friends. Sometimes, when I can feel the physical distance between our new live and the life we left behind, or when I'm longing for the trees of home, (here in the high desert we have plenty of sagebrush but not any trees) I pull out this adorable bookmark and it makes me smile.
